"Cheesy Soliloquy (Sonnet Based on Romeo and Juliet)" by Keysya Brockway

[JULIET]

I yearn to inch less than six feet apart,

Alas, feuding households distance two hearts.

O, your touch lingers and ceases to depart.

I long to be yours from the very start!

Gluttonous for your ceaseless attention,

I remain breathless as you cloud my thoughts.

Plague my body with your warm affection!

In large social gatherings, hold me lots!

Romeo, let’s stay reckless forever!

When the sun stay dormant and the moon shines,

Let us seek Heav’n as star-crossed lovers.

Let both our pulsing hearts intertwine.

Love streams my veins like a lethal virus,

No elixir, for it remains fatal.
